CHOMP’s Peninsula Wellness Center Opens
Located in The Dunes master-plan community, the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula opened its new 34,000 square foot Wellness Center in August. This center prides itself on being the first of its kind in the area.
What makes this facility so unique is that it’s to help people stay healthy and fit. The Peninsula Wellness Center provides multiple levels of service. Offerings available to Marina residents include state-of-the-art fitness equipment, cardiovascular fitness and rehabilitation, lap and therapy pools, strength training, fitness classes and even a kid’s play area.
Also available at the Wellness Center complex is the office of Peninsula Primary Care. It is staffed with four full-time primary care physicians and is currently accepting new patients. Patients will have access to lab and X-ray services and the benefit of the Wellness Center facility all in one location.
